Save One Life, Save Thousands – That is how I started my subject box for the latest email I have sent to the German Minister of  Justice Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger with a copy to Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Guido Westerwelle.

My initial plan was to mention all the Non Human lives that have been saved and all those that will be saved thanks to the leadership of our Skipper – Captain Paul Watson. However the email may have gone of on a different direction, but I have sent it.

We know our Skipper is due to be released on bail today and that there will be a press conference at 1pm. Sea Shepherd has asked for all of it’s supporters to continue with the campaign of emails to the two most important people in the fate of Captain Paul Watson. There is also a major ALL HANDS ON DECK campaign this Wednesday the 23rd of May. Sea Shepherd News!

I thought you would like me to share my latest email to two German Ministers that the world is currently watching very closely!

Subject: Save One Life, Save Thousands, Please help Captain Paul Watson

Dear Minister Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger,

I am emailing you today regarding Captain Paul Watson from  The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

Whilst it appears that things are moving forward I am extremely concerned for Paul Watson’s safety.

I understand that in an extraordinary move by the German Higher Regional Court in Frankfurt, the court has granted the general public prosecutor’s request for Captain Paul Watson’s preliminary arrest for extradition to Costa Rica.

The court has also granted bail for Captain Paul Watson during the time the court considers whatever documentation Costa Rica is able to provide to substantiate their bogus allegations against Captain Paul Watson.

In a press release, received towards the end of business hours on Friday the 18th of May, the Higher Regional Court stated that “the question of whether or not Mr. Paul Watson will be extradited is not ultimately a decision by the Higher Regional Court but by the executive body which is the Ministry of Justice”.

I have three main concerns that I would like you to consider;

  1. The arrest warrant that has been issued by the authorities in Costa Rica in November 2011 is politically motivated!
  2. Captain Paul Watson will not receive a fair trial in Costa Rica, there is too much corruption to ensure due process!
  3. Mr Watson’s will be at risk of harm and possible murder whilst awaiting trial in Costa Rica, the authorities will not be able to guarantee his safety, indeed there has been a BOUNTY on MR Watson’s head of $20,000.00.. for years by The Taiwanese Shark Mafia.

I would like to ask, have you watched the award-winning film “SHARKWATER“?

Here is a link to the trailer for you to enjoy Sharkwater YOU TUBE Trailer in German

I also thought you may like a link to a recent article in The Costa Rica Star – Vice Chancellor of Costa Rica meets Tico supporters of Paul Watson. One quote that stands out is from  Mr. Arturo Carballo,
“For us it a shame to punish those who protect our natural resources. We want to raise awareness about Watson’s case and tell the world of the corruption and mafia activities surrounding the environmental discourse and imposing themselves on political decisions, and to also issue a call for help due to the corruption present on the ecological realm.”

Please can you give the case of Captain Paul Watson you careful consideration, and can I once again thank you for spending  your valuable time reading this email.

Yours sincerely,

———————————————————————————————–

You can either compose your email or copy and paste mine. I would ask whilst it is imperative that you all continue your consistent persistent campaigns also to continue to email, telephone and write to the two currently most influential individuals in Captain Watson’s life.

Time is of the essence, every minute, every email, every fax and every blog helps.

Today is judgement day and the fate of our Captain will probably be decided.

Please keep the activity going. I have received a german translation of the email I have sent to both The General Minister for Justice – Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger - and The Minister for  Foreign Affairs – Dr. Guido Westerwelle.

I would like to offer my sincere gratitude to Susafras for the translation! I have checked it with google translator.

So, very simply I have sent another email to the two german officials that can save our hero, our Captain, our Jedi Master.

You can either write your own email and use Google Translator or adopt, copy and paste mine.

Subject: Bitte lassen Sie Captain Paul Watson frei! – Please free our Captain Paul Watson!

Sehr geehrte Frau Justizministerin Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger,
Sehr geehrter Herr Aussenminister Westerwelle,

Dear Minister Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger,
Dear Minister Guido Westerwelle,

I am contacting you regarding Captain Paul Watson.

The general public prosecutor submitted his motion for a preliminary extradition arrest warrant against Captain Paul Watson this Wednesday the 16th of May 2012.

It is my understanding that the public prosecutor stated that the German Ministry of Justice and the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs have the power to stop the extradition procedure for political reasons.

I would like to think that you are fully aware of the case, it has indeed been high-profile in the media world-wide all week.

I would like to highlight a few facts;
The warrant for Captain Watson’s arrest was issued in Costa Rica in October of 2011, curiously close to the time that the Institute for Cetacean Research (ICR) filed their civil suit against Sea Shepherd Conservation Society in the United States.The question remains, what prompted Costa Rica to issue an arrest warrant for Captain Watson in October of 2011?

The warrant relates to an incident in 2002, whilst Captain Watson was acting in good faith after taking advice from the authorities. The timeline and events that this warrant relates to have been captured and feature in the award-winning film “Sharkwater”.

Should Captain Watson be extradited to Costa Rica, he will certainly not receive a fair trial and his safety cannot be guaranteed. The Taiwanese Shark Finning Mafia, which operates illegally in Costa Rica, could try to harm Captain Watson. They have had a bounty on his head for $20,000.00 for years and this reality has him fearing for his life.

Between the illegal Japanese whalers and the shark finning mafia in Costa Rica, Captain Watson has formidable enemies who seek to stop his efforts to defend marine life.

Please I urge you to consider Paul Watson’s case and NOT GRANT AN EXTRADITION ORDER on POLITICAL GROUNDS.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this email.

Yours sincerely,

————————————————————————————————-

Please take action now, every second counts, many Thanks,

Morlan

It seems that Captain Paul Watson may have had a little luck on Wednesday with a late decision from the german general public prosecutor at 18:00 and a bank holiday on thursday, today, FRIDAY, his fate will be solidified!

The general public prosecutor finally submitted his motion for a preliminary extradition arrest warrant against Captain Paul Watson.  The late filing of this motion, coupled with a German bank holiday on Thursday, has given us until today, Friday to appeal to German Federal Minister of Justice Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Guido Westerwelle’s standards for International Human Rights.

The German Federal Minister of Justice and The Minister of Foreign Affairs both have the authority to STOP the extradition process on the grounds of POLITICAL REASONS.

Please read the latest from The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society!

You may want to mention that this arrest warrant is politically motivated and Paul Watson’s life will be at risk if he is extradited to Costa Rica.

I am concerned to learn that The Taiwanese Shark Fin Mafia has had a $20,000 bounty on his head for years. If Paul Watson is extradited, he will be incarcerated and he probably will not survive long enough to have his day in court. He could be kept in prison for a year waiting for a trial. Then if he survived he would not receive a fair trial.

This is my latest email:-

Please take action NOW to save our Captain!

Captain Paul Watson, founder of The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society  is currently in a german prison awaiting the next court hearing to see if he will be extradited to Costa Rica on resurected charges over a vessel violation from 2002YES 2002.

The media has been full of articles on Paul Watson’s arrest and they are indeed diligently following the events this week. One important fact stands out head and shoulders above all the others facts and the evidence.

Captain Paul Watson will not receive a FAIR TRIAL if he is extradited to Costa Rica and his life will be in Danger. Those that follow Sea Shepherd are fully aware that Paul Watson and many other high profile activists that defend our oceans wildlife and habitat receive Death Threats regularly.

Rob Stewart, cameraman and filmaker from the award winning film “Sharkwater” was on board the the Sea Shepherd Farley Mowat and has filmed and recorded the events including footage of the alleged offence which he has released. Interestingly enough, whilst he was in Costa Rica making the film in 2002, he was warned to leave the country as his life was endangered and he had to sneak out. That is also in the film “Sharkwater”.

Unfortunately, Germany is shut today, closed for business. It is a bank holiday, and so our Jedi Master has to wait until Friday for the next court hearing in the Saga. Captain Watson does not believe in coincidences and neither do I and many other Sea Shepherd supporters. There are dark forces at play. These alleged offences are fuelled with corruption and deceit as there are several billion dollar industries that would benefit from the removal of Captain Paul Watson from defending our oceans and sea life.

You can help, whilst Germany is shut, you can blog, share and email. I have posted a few useful email addresses for you;

Dear Sir/Madam,

I was very concerned to hear that Germany has detained Sea Shepherd’s Captain Paul Watson for possible extradition to Costa Rica. Many feel that if Captain Watson is extradited, his life will be at risk.

I understand that the warrant for Captain Watson’s arrest is politically motivated and possibly due to an incident in which Sea Shepherd uncovered an illegal shark finning operation. Evidence that proves the lies and political motivations of the accusations are fully available. Incopesca in Costa Rica seems to have great interest in the arrest.
http://www.unitedconservationists.org/united-conservationists-news/170-sharkwater-proves-paul-watsons-innocence.html

http://taijiactiongroup.blogspot.com.br/2012/05/incopesca-in-costa-rica-may-be-driving.html?spref=fb

It is evident to the international community that this a conspiracy, politically motivated. More than that, the community believe it NOT to be a simple coincidence that the renewal of the arrest demand of Paul Watson comes at the same time as Japan starts a law suit, through its “Whale Research Institute” against Sea Sheperd in the US.

At this very time, Japan plans to kill and slaughter another 260 whales, for “research” purposes:

http://www.seashepherd.org/news-and-media/2012/05/16/germany-considers-sending-whale-defender-to-what-will-be-a-death-sentence-in-costa-rica-1377
I support Sea Shepherd’s efforts to monitor and publicise illegal fishing and whaling around the world and recognize that some illegal fishing operations try to use international law to shut down the Sea Shepherd operations.

I urge you to consider the valuable work Captain Watson and Sea Shepherd are undertaking globally to highlight the dangers to our oceans in considering this extradition request.

Please consider the full implications of this situation. Germany cannot be used/associated with such a sordid political manoueuvre or negatively seen internationally as an enemy of the international movement on behalf of wildlife preservation.

Mr Watson will surely NOT have a decent legal trial if extradited to Costa Rica. The whole world has eyes directly on Germany at this very moment, to see whether it will choose the side of  justice or if it will be an accomplice with such an indecent murderous plot against Sea Shepherd and what is now left of Earth’s marine wildlife.

Much is at stake. Please consider Captain Paul Watson’s case. The Public Prosecutor stated that the German Ministry of Justice and the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs have the power to stop the extradition procedures on political grounds.

http://www.interpol.int/News-and-media/News-media-releases/2012/N20120514

If the German Ministry of Justice and/or the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs give notice that they would not grant an extradition of Paul Watson to Costa Rica the case would be over, and Captain Watson would be set free immediately.

I am grateful that you have taken the time to read this important email and can I thank you in advance for considering Paul Watson’s case.

Yours Faithfully,

———————————————————————————————–

Captain Paul Watson is canadian so I would like to think Canada and it’s representatives would like to support his case. You may also like to contact The Canadian Foreign Minister Mr John Baird,

 bairdj@parl.gc.ca

You can also send a mail to the German minister of Foreign Affairs, he can stop the extradition and save our Captain;

The Empire is aware of Sea Shepherd’s spiralling legal expenses and indeed this is more than likely one of their motives. Donations are needed to ensure Sea Shepherds success with it’s legal challenges and ongoing campaigns that will not falter, Sea Shepherds and their supporters are more determined and resolute in their endeavours.

It is my understanding that whilst I write this, Captain Paul Watson is sleeping in a german prison at the convenience of the german judicial system. His is apparently in good spirits and he wishes that all this attention raises awareness for the 100 million sharks that are butchered every year for their fins.

Those of you that know and follow me will know that I am a Full Time Taekwon-Do Teacher and passionate supporter of The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society defends our oceans habitat and wildlife through direct action and recording and sharing events through the media. Now I ask you, I urge you, to take a leap of faith on the subject and visit their website and learn more about Sea Shepherd and their campaigns around the world.

Normally I keep a sensible distance between the two activities and I know many of my martial arts friends are also passionate about Sea Shepherd and Captain Paul Watson.

Captain Paul Watson was arrested over the weekend in Germany for extradition to Costa Rica.  The German police have said that the warrant for Captain Watson’s arrest is in response to an alleged violation of ships traffic in Costa Rica, which occurred during the filming of Sharkwater in 2002.  The specific “violation of ships traffic” incident took place on the high seas in Guatemalan waters, when Sea Shepherd encountered an illegal shark finning operation, run by a Costa Rican ship called the Varadero.  On order of the Guatemalan authorities, Sea Shepherd instructed the crew of the Varadero to cease their shark finning activities and head back to port to be prosecuted.  While escorting the Varadero back to port, the tables were turned and a Guatemalan gunboat was dispatched to intercept the Sea Shepherd crew.  The crew of the Varadero accused the Sea Shepherds of trying to kill them, while the video evidence proves this to be a fallacy.  To avoid the Guatemalan gunboat, Sea Shepherd then set sail for Costa Rica, where they uncovered even more illegal shark finning activities in the form of dried shark fins by the thousands on the roofs of industrial buildings.

Sea Shepherd have issued an urgent call to action to all their Volunteers and Supporters:

In shocking news, German officials have decided to proceed with the extradition of Captain Watson to Costa Rica.  Our last hope of saving Captain Watson from extradition is to convince German officials at the Ministry of Justice to step in and overturn their decision.  Show your support for Captain Watson by contacting Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger, the Federal Minister of Justice in Berlin, Germany.  Let her know that the warrant for Captain Watson’s arrest is politically motivated and thus should be ignored by the German government.  With international support we can set Captain Watson free, and keep him from the possibility of facing an unfair trial in Costa Rica.

Time is of the essence, please learn, share, tweet, blog and talk about Captain Paul Watson and The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. We only have a few hours left to make an impact, there is a news confeence planned at 10am in Frankfurt, Germany.

If this decision to extradite Paul Watson is not reversed, it can take another days for an appeal. That is three months without Captain Paul Watson at the helm of Sea Shepherd. During that three months, another 25 Million sharks will be brutally maimed and killed just for their fins.

I am grateful to Film Maker Rob Stewart who was onboard the Sea Shepherd Vessel at the time and has released video evidence that supports Captain Paul Watson;

Please, I urge you, send an email, tweet, share and blog.

The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society has issued an Urgent Call To Action to all Sea Shepherd Supporters to help incarcerated Captain Paul Watson.

Captain Paul Watson has been arrested in Germany and may be extradited to Costa Rica where he will face a politically motivated, unfair trial — unless you and I help!

Sea Shepherd has only has hours to make their case to Germany’s Federal Minister of Justice. Her name is Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger.

She is the only person in the world who can step in to overturn the decision of the lower courts in Germany and keep Captain Watson from being extradited to Costa Rica. If she does not make this decision within hours, Captain Watson will be held in jail in Germany for 90 days pending an appeal process prior to his extradition.

We cannot allow Captain Watson to be extradited to Costa Rica or be held in a German prison for 90 days. He has too much work to do for the oceans!

Please show your support for Captain Watson by contacting Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger, the Federal Minister of Justice in Berlin, Germany.  Let her know that the warrant for Captain Watson’s arrest is politically motivated and thus should be ignored by the German government.  With international support we can set Captain Watson free, and keep him from the possibility of facing an unfair trial in Costa Rica.

Time is of the essence, please email, blog, tweet, and share, our Captain needs us.

I find it interesting that the majority of people I speak to are completely unaware of the direct relationship between fat loss and conservation. Indeed the two subjects seem worlds apart when actually they work in harmony or in confrontation to one another.

Please let me explain, I often use this quote from leading fat Loss expert Paul Mort;

The human body, when overwhelmed with TOXINS, will dump any toxic substances within the adipose tissue store (fat cells) in order to reduce their circulation throughout the body. When there are no longer toxins entering the body, those toxins will be expelled with the fat (excess water) that’s storing them”.

So, I should imagine those of you reading this that are advocates for cetacean rights will understand completely that those people who eat whale or dolphin meat will automatically be polluting their bodies and filling up their fat stores.

Our oceans are polluted with human debris beyond the point of distraction. The larger the fish, the higher the level of toxicity. So for those health conscious individuals that feel that they are helping themselves by eating fish need to have a rethink and do their own research.

Now, think about this. Pigs are the largest predator in our oceans. Forty percent of the fish caught goes towards supplying the pig farms, adding insult to injury.

Now, when you consider you only get cholesterol from animal products, whether it is meat, or milk or cheese. If a person wants to eat a healthy diet, then they need to think carefully about what they are really eating.

Now, you may be thinking you need calcium or protein. Where do you think the animals get their calcium or protein from? You may be thinking that if you did not eat fish, meat or poultry then you would have nothing to eat. The average person has ten meals they eat on a regular basis, just ten. I assure you, if you rethink you diet and plan your meals, you will be amazed at all the foods you are missing out on.

For your health and for the planet, I would urge you to consider becoming a Clean Eating Vegan.

Avoid consuming the following;

All animal products, meat, fish, dairy, honey ect.

Wheat, corn, sugar or sugar substitutes.

Alcohol and caffeine.

Pre-processed foods in boxes, tins and packet.

Deep fat fried and microwaved foods.

The good news is, avoid the foods that your body does not like and you can eat what you want, when you want and as much as you want.

Today, I visited Jack Spratts Cafe Restaurant on Chillingham Road, Heaton, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Those like-minded clean living Vegans and Vegetarians will understand how difficult it is to find good food, unless you make it yourself.

Good news, Jack Spratts caters for all vegan and vegetarians, the food is cooked fresh on the premises and their menu is simply lush.

There is a great choice of options including wheat and gluten-free and great care is taken to ensure that your food requirements are fulfilled.

The surroundings are great aswell, clean and comfortable, and in the true spirit of things, dinners can witness antiques that have been reclaimed and revitalised.

I am not surprised to learn that patrons travel from Durham and Middlesborough to eat at this great venue, the host and staff can expect to see me there again.

I googled Jack Spratts  and it turns out that Jack Spratt is an old English Nursery Rhyme, this is the most common modern version I found in ye old wikipedia;

Jack Sprat could eat no fat.

His wife could eat no lean.

And so between them both, you see,

They licked the platter clean.

The ancient Babylonians practiced a vital law that was the cause of their immense prosperity. They used The Tithing Law, which involves giving one-tenth of all money or riches that you receive. The Tithing Law dictates that you must give to receive, and the Babylonians knew that the practice of this law opens up the flow of abundance.

If you are thinking, “I will give when I have enough money,” then The Tithing Law states you will never have enough money, because you have to give first. Many of the wealthiest people on the planet tithed their way to wealth, and they have never stopped tithing!

The thing is this, when it comes to the act of giving, the amount you give is not as important as the feeling you have when you give. Whether you give a small amount or a huge some, whether you donate an item or you give your time, it is all GIVING and in turn attracts PROPSPERITY in all it’s forms.

If you feel that you are unable to give as you have no money or you have no time, guess what? you will always be short of money and time. If you feel you can make a donation as you know more funds are winging their way to you, and you can make and give time, then like wise, your luck will improve, your wealth will ascend in its varied forms and you will have more time to do more really cool stuff.

There are many great causes that you can donate to, for me though, obviously, it is The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

You can click on the logo, visit their site, learn more about the really cool Sea Shepherd campaigns protecting our Oceans Wildlife and Habitat. Jump in and start giving.

Another big tip I have for you. Although I donate monthly to Sea Shepherd and I give my time daily, I have come to realise that if I donate more regularly my luck improves. Again, the amount is not as important than the act of GIVING. So Give Daily!
